Management

The Management Team consists of the following individuals:


Blair Poetschke

Mr. Blair Poetschke is the founder, President and CEO of Scisense, Inc.. Graduating with an MBA in 1989, he has started a number of companies in the past including two medical device companies. Surrounding himself with a team of experienced engineers and other experts, he has led Scisense to introduce the world’s smallest pressure sensor in 2005 and has built the company to a point where today it is recognized as a worldwide source of expertise in the study of pressure-volume loops and cardiac function assessment.


Andrew Henton

Mr. Andrew Henton graduated with an honours degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario with a focus in physiology research. He has been a member of the Scisense sales team for 5 years and is currently responsible for all direct sales activities including overall product management. His experience with data acquisition platforms and other device technologies is an asset to our customers and in supporting the development of new research solutions. Andrew also spends time in the field to conduct on-site meetings, product demonstrations, and provide training.


Peter Plouf

Peter has been the Director of Engineering at Scisense for the last six years. With 20 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer he brings a wealth of knowledge about test and measurement systems to our team. His extensive background in sensor development combined with his strong knowledge of the cardiovascular system keeps Scisense at the leading edge of product development and innovation.


Mandy Conlon

Ms. Mandy Conlon is the Manager of Human Resources and Administrative Systems at Scisense, responsible for company personnel policy, hiring and overall administrative aspects of the company. Her 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector have given her the expertise and passion to manage organizational development and training, and to assist in creating a forward thinking and vibrant workplace.


Ben Lewis

Mr. Ben Lewis is the Manager of Operations at Scisense. Responsible for managing the work teams for both catheter and electronic assembly, he has a background in Electronics Engineering Technology and many years experience in a production environment. His contribution to Scisense over the last few years has allowed us to dramatically reduce our delivery times, increase product durability and improve overall efficiencies.
