This cuvette is used for performing blood volume calibrations for rodent studies. The cuvette has 10 wells divided in to two ranges, 10-50 uL for mouse studies and 200-600 uL for rat. Total volume is determined by the radius of the well and the electrode spacing of our standard mouse and rat catheters (where L is 4.5 mm and 8.0 mm, respectively). Note, if other electrode spacings are used then overall well volumes are effected (ie. Vol = p(r)^2*L)

This cuvette is used for performing blood volume calibrations for rat or rabbit studies. The cuvette has 12 wells, increasing in diameter from 6 mm to 18 mm . Total volume is determined by the radius of the well and the electrode spacing of the catheter (ie. Vol = p(r)^2*L).

This cuvette is used for performing blood volume calibrations for large animal studies. The cuvette has 10 wells, increasing in diameter from 9.6 mm to 38.2 mm . Total volume is determined by the radius of the well and the sum of the segmental electrode sections that are active on the catheter (ie. Segmental Vol. = p(r)^2*L, where L is the segmental length).

The Amber Sciences digital conductivity meter features three modes of operation: one for self check; and two for measuring conductivity (from 20 micro Siemens to 20 milli-Siemens). The conductivity measurement readings are displayed on a 3½ digit LCD with a floating decimal. The Self Check feature provides verification of proper operation, and the ability to adjust for cell constant variations.
