	The Scisense FV992B “GX5 Large Animal Pressure- Volume Control Unit” is a dual-input signal conditioner and amplifier for larger animal pressure-volume research. The FV992B control unit boasts Scisense “tuneable segment” technology - independent gain and offset calibration controls for all 5 conductance catheter segments allow the user to calibrate Scisense multi-segment PV catheters accurately to the subjects blood sample. The resulting benefit is a catheter that has validated accuracy and optimal signal resolution. The system can be used for medium to large sized animal PV studies, including rabbit, canine, swine, and sheep models. Scisense multi-segment catheters are available in sizes ranging from 3F-7F O.D., and come with a variety of lumen and tip characteristics to suit protocol needs. The control unit is equipped with a 2-point electronic calibration for pressure with zero balance control. The FV992B control unit can be connected to any data acquisition system via six BNC terminals (one for pressure data transfer, and five for each individual segmental volume signal).
