ADVantage Pressure Volume Control Unit

The ADVantage™ PV system for large and small animal research is designed to study contractility and other cardiac assessment parameters.

  • Patented admittance technololgy calculates true volume instantaneously.
  • Functional measurements (ie. ESPVR, EDPVR, PRSW, etc.) can be calculated during the experiment – confirm quality results before terminating the study.
  • Users experience tighter confidence intervals for volume data when compared to older conductance data.
  • A second pressure channel permits advanced protocols, such as simultaneous systemic BP recordings with PV loops, or pulse-wave velocity studies.
  • Variable segment length (VSL) catheters allow the researcher to properly fit and place the catheter in the ventricle for accuracy and consistency of data.
