The Scisense FV896B rodent pressure-volume control unit is a dual-input signal conditioner and amplifier for use with our solid-state pressure-volume sensors. The FV896B is designed specifically for mouse and/or rat cardiac function studies where simultaneous acquisition of ventricular pressure and cardiac volume is desired. The system ultimately provides a comprehensive analysis of hemodynamics and indices of cardiac contractility. The control unit is equipped with a 2-point electronic calibration for pressure with zero balance control, and a multi-point electronic relative volume calibration optimized for mouse or rat studies. The FV896B control unit can be connected to any data acquisition system via two BNC terminals. |
